Just Say Little Bluestem

Posted

Saying Schizachyrium scoparium can be quite a mouthful. That is why we appreciate its common name, Little Bluestem. This original prairie grass once covered much of the U.S., and it is the parent of many lovely cultivars.

Little Bluestem's summer colors: greens, blues, purples. Fall brings downy white seed heads and red-orange foliage hues.
