Gainesville the other week, I met Linda Butler who, with her husband and
children, runs a plant growing business in Auburn; I visited them this morning -
what a treat! As growers, Bloomin Designs sells to wholesalers who sell to
landscapers. But . . . appointments can be made by members of the public, to
come and see and buy. This is a great time of the year to plant day lilies and
hostas, as well as other perennials, and Bloomin Designs has got lots of them.
If your gardening plans for the fall are already complete, mark your calendar
for next May, when Bloomin Designs holds a Friday and Saturday Open House for

Just wanted to tell
you how happy I am with my recent order for 3 "Knockout" roses and the 2
butterlfy bushes.
I received them on a Thursday,
planted them on Saturday and had flowers on 2 of the roses by the following
Tuesday, the other one has buds that will be open in a couple of days. One of
the butterfly bushes has 2 floer buds on it. I just can't believe how well they
are doing.
I've told all my friends how
happy I am with my new bushes. Thank you so much. Christine

Your shipment arrived this afternoon, so I went back to your website, re-read the planting instructions and went to work. Not only do I want
to thank your for the Bonus Hosta and the wonderful Butterfly Bushes you had included last year (by the way, they are about 4 feet tall by
now and look really good) but I also want to compliment you on the very healthy plants you selected and the great way you packed them.
There wasn't a bend leaf or anything else that could be considered less than perfect.
Over the years I have bought many plants from some "big name" growers and couldn't believe my eyes when I unpacked them.
In some cases the whole plants where brocken off from the roots, or they where still tiny seedlings, too small to survive the shock of the trip.
What a difference to see such healthy, well cared for and expertly packed stock. I couldn't be any happier and you can be assured that they

Linda, I just wanted to say a big thank you for the lovely gift
of the daylily "Clothed In Glory" I looked it up on your website and was
very impressed with it. Also the plants i ordered arrived yesterday
afternoon in excellent shape and I planted them right away this am. I know
our growing season is coming slowly to an end so I will probably have to wait
until next year to see them bloom. I will certainly be looking forward to

I received an
order from you several weeks back. A yellow butterfly bush and two daylilies,
and they were as if they had never been lifted from the ground. Not a single
leaf wilted. The butterfly bush seems established already and has even grown a
bit. You had stated prior to my order that these bushes weren't reccommended for
Ohio, but since I have two other different color ones that go at least 7 feet
high each summer, I'm giving it a try with the yellow. You have a most credible
business and I certainly will be ordering again.

ordered two yellow butterfly bushed, and received them, in very good shape.
Just wanted you to know that they were exactly what I wanted, very
healthy. I planted them, and they are 5 times their size now, and,
believe it or not....with Kansas down to low 40's (night) & just low 60's
during the day, one of them is blooming!! Thanks for a

and enjoy a tour through your beautiful plants (a refreshing diversion from the
impending Minnesota winter!) I purchased a dozen varieties
of hosta from you through eBay, May of 2003, plus added another 5 to
the shipment. Although I initially had reservations about buying bare-root
(and especially through eBay) I was amazed at the quality of your
hosta. Every single plant arrived healthy and vigerous, was packed with
extreme care, and settled happily into my gardens. The results were
robust, beautiful hosta plants, in the first season and even moreso their second
