New orders should anticipate receiving their plants in one to two weeks.
If you are in one of the blue, and possibly red states (see below), and temperatures over 90F are predicted, we may need to delay shipment of Ajuga, Chrysogonum (Green & Gold), Delosperma (Ice Plant), Mazus, Sedum, Selaginella, Thyme, Verbenas, Vinca, and some of Ferns( particularly Southern Shield).  We are committed to sending
you the best plants available. All of our plant items are carefully identified,
packaged and shipped. Most of our plants are shipped bare root and should be
unpacked immediately, and either potted or planted. We ship most plant items to the 48 contiguous United States. Orders destined for AZ, CA, OR, or WA are
treated with low toxicity pesticide per state regulations. See below for Canada, contact us for shipments to other destinations for minimums and terms.
Paid in Full Orders placed by 12:00 pm on Friday, as a general rule of thumb, will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday, subject to weather and backlog . Orders received in March, April and May may anticipate a one to two week delay due to volume. See Shipping Schedule below for orders placed during winter months. If you have a specific desired shipping date, please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate your request.
 Shipping charges gray states - $6.00 for the
first item plus $1.00 for each additional item, red states - $6.40
for the first item plus $1.40 for each additional
item, blue states -
$6.60 for the first item plus $1.60 for each additional
item, Canada (bare root only)- $18.00 for the first item plus $1.00 for each additional item, unless an additional amount is also noted (for example base rose rate is $2.00). We could choose a cheaper shipping
method, spend less time carefully preparing your plants for shipment and lose
less money to ensure that your plants arrive safely, but our accountant would
not sign off on our delivery guarantee statement.

Sales Tax - We must collect state sales tax on
Georgia orders.
When shipping an order to an address different than the
billing address, please provide any appropriate notes of explanation or
directions (gift note, birthday, etc.).
Shipping Method We send most plants via
United States Postal Service Priority Mail - 2 to 3 day delivery. Large orders or flats may be shipped via UPS. Please
contact us if you prefer to have your order shipped by an overnight
service.

Depending on your spring fever, unless you
request a specific ship date, we will use the following chart as a guide for
first ship dates to the respective Zone.

* The type of plant you
order or the weather in our area or yours may affect the anticipated shipping
schedule. All plants may not be available until mid April, depending on the
weather. Unless requested otherwise, an order will be held until all plants
are available. Plant orders shipped at different times or to multiple
addresses will be subject to additional shipping charges. In the event of excessive hot weather conditions, we may limit shipment of certain plants from mid-June through mid-August. Depending on the weather, we stop taking
orders for fall shipment of field grown plants between October 31st and mid November. Some plants may be available through the winter for shipment to warmer Zones.
General merchandise purchased will be shipped with your plant order. Orders for will be shipped immediately.
Substitutions Orders placed on
line should not have a problem with substitutions. However, if an item you
order is unavailable or does not meet our quality standards, we will contact
you prior to sending a substitution.
Your
satisfaction is very important to us. If, for any reason, you are not pleased
with any item, just contact us.
