Compact, dwarf mound herbaceous perennial.
Deciduous, delicate green foliage has a compact basal branching habit. Tiny light yellow flowers bloom in upright, dense, terminal inflorescences in mid to late summer on stems with medium green leaves. Cut back flowers after initial bloom to encourage a second fall bloom.
One of the most compact forms of goldenrod, 'Little Lemon' is easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils. Good drought tolerance, once established, needs only occasional watering. Avoid excess fertilization; prune after flowering .
Use as a groundcover, as edging along paths, walks, patios, in mass on a slope, or in containers. Showy flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbit tolerant.
