Product Description
Leucanthemum superbum 'Banana Cream' PPAF
a/k/a Shasta Daisy, Family: Asteraceae/Compositae (aster/daisy Family)
Zones 5 to 9; Full Sun.
Mature size: 15 to 18 inch high, spreads 18 to 24 inches;
bushy mounded clump. 4-inch wide flowers open lemon yellow, brighten to light butter yellow and finally change to creamy white when mature. An extra row of ray petals gives the flowers a fuller appearance than truly single varieties. Since it produces flower buds at each auxiliary shoot, 'Banana Cream' PPAF blooms prolifically all summer long atop strong, upright stems. Compared to older cultivars, this plant has nicely compact, dark green foliage and exhibits increased disease resistance. It has proven to be a very strong grower and rapid multiplier.
