Plants reach 30 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide;
Clump forming habit.
Growth rate: Moderate. Chinese Astilbes are slow spreading, rhizomatous plants.
Strong grower and vigorous bloomer.
'Milk and Honey' quickly forms a compact graceful, fern-like mound of dainty foliage topped by bunches of fragrant, tiny creamy white flowers that turn light pink as they age. Flowers are densely packed into erect to arching, triangular, plume-like flower panicles rising above the foliage on slender, upright stems. Bushy foliage appears slightly marbled with green and silver when it's young, then turns solid green as it matures. Blooms mid to late summer.
