From AHS -
Greetings, Hosta Fans!
The September edition of the AHS eNewsletter features Made in the
Shade Tissue Culture as the AHGA vendor. Our local highlighted
hosta society is the DelMarVa Hosta Society. Warren Pollock
addresses some important issues regarding the use of NEMA STOP and
points out the visual similarities in the appearance on the leaf
between nematode infection and bacterial leaf streak. Glenn Herold
highlights another Japanese species hosta, Hosta nakaiana.
We introduce a new column, Profiles, which will introduce the
members of the Executive Board of the AHS. Also, you will find an
update on the changes to the Hosta Registry website, which will
include photos and a new online Hosta Finder. We hope you enjoy
this issue. As always, your feedback is welcome.
We welcome your feedback. Please contact us at AHS.eNewsletter@gmail.com
