shade-loving perennial will really brighten up your garden with its
golden yellow leaves and a heavy smattering of bright red pigment.
Although white flowers do appear in late spring, this plant’s claim to
fame is its attractive foliage. Cutting back the flowers after they
bloom will keep Fun and Games® 'Leapfrog' looking tidy and refined. It’s small size is great for filling in spaces between green Hostas like the enormous ‘Empress Wu’,
and it also will work great in combination containers. ‘Leapfrog’ is
best in part shade to full shade, as the lighter color leaves may burn
in full sun. Cold hardy to zone 4. |
