Product Description
Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'
Common Name: CREEPING JENNY, MONEYWORT and CREEPING CHARLIE.
Zones 3 to 9.
Part to full shade.
Low-growing, creeping ground cover forms a dense leafy mat 2 to 4 inches tall.
Rounded, slightly ruffled, leaves will be yellow in full sun to lime green in shade. Bountiful, cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers emerge in early summer to fall.
Rooting where leaf nodes come in contact with the soil, 'Aurea' is easily grown in average, medium to wet, well-drained soil. Intolerant of dry soils, it can sometimes be invasive, but will tolerate moderate foot traffic.
Good plant for shady places, under trees or on a creek bank. Use for covering banks, as a border, around water gardens, between stepping stones, or in rustic containers, old stumps, and hanging baskets or walls for cascading effect.
Eighteen (18) plants in 3.5 inch containers per flat (or tray).
